This week, we’re taking some well-earned Recovery Days—a vital part of every training journey. At Cr8, we believe that progress isn’t just built in the gym, but also in the moments we allow our bodies to rest, rebuild, and recharge.

Recovery helps prevent injury, restores energy levels, and gives your muscles the time they need to grow stronger. It’s not a pause in progress—it’s an essential part of it.

While we have always done recovery weeks every 3-4 months, my family is having several very special events this year. In May Drew graduates from college. It is a pleasure to go see him graduate on May 8-9th.

In July recovery will be July 16-22nd. During this break Drew is getting married.

He's not the only one having special events. Amy graduates from High school this year. There are two day in May that I will be attending events for her. On May 16th there will not be any afternoon trainings and on May 30 there will not be a 6pm training. I appreciate the time to celebrate with my kids. If you can make it to other training times during these two days please take advantage of that.

On Memorial Day, May 26th, there will be only one training time at 9am. We'll have a blast and then you can honor those who have given all for our great country.

Please mark these dates on your calendar

We want to sincerely thank you for your understanding and support as we all take this time to slow down, reflect, and prepare to come back even better.

Use this time to focus on our May Challenge. 100 ounces of water, 1 mile walk (or 30 minutes of movement), 100 grams of protein, and 1 day a week without mindless scrolling.

We’ll be back to full speed soon—and we can’t wait to see you back in action!

To your best health,

Coach Nancy
