330 pounds, that is the total weight loss from one challenge given to those attending Cr8 Fitness in 2023. How did they do it? One pound at a time. While that might be a cheeky answer, it is is true. Anyone looking to lose weight has to drop the first pound and then repeat that over and over.
You know how so many women (people) over the age of 40 think that life is passing them by? Saying they have No energy, nagging health issues, maybe carrying a few extra pounds? I am a fitness and nutrition coach that helps people get over all that and enjoying their life again. I know as people get healthier they automagically gets happier. Losing weight can be one of the leading courses to take to increase health. Getting healthier and happier at the same time is a win, win.
In 2023, Cr8 Fitness had a milestone of an anniversary. We celebrated 15 years in business. Putting Cr8 Fitness's mission into practice we implemented 15 different monthly goals throughout the year for our clients. In fact we created more than 15 different goals this year.
Those 15 goals focused on making small changes in their eating plans. We didn't want to keep this information to ourselves so here are small steps you can take to drop weight, increase health, and also drive the happy meter up.
- Do not eat anything out of a box, bag, or can
- Eat only Firsts, no seconds
- Drink zero calorie beverages
- Drink 2 glasses of water first thing after waking up
- Eat veggies at every meal
- Eat protein at Every Meal
- No Snacking
- Replace Bread, Pasta, or Rice with a veggie
- Use a smaller plate
- Decide what you will eat before going out
- Have a salad as a main meal
- Skip dessert or after dinner snacks
